  • 1 cup tomato juice organic for best flavor
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce vegan if preferred
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika optional, for a smoky touch
  • Dash of hot sauce adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes enough to fill your glass

Optional Garnishes

  • Celery stick
  • Lemon wedge
  • Olives pickles, or cherry tomatoes on skewers
  • Fresh dill parsley, or basil for decoration

Instructions

  • Combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, celery salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and hot sauce in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
  • Stir or shake until well combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add extra hot sauce for heat or lemon juice for more tanginess.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. For added flair, rim the glass with celery salt or smoked paprika if desired.
  • Pour the prepared base over the ice. Garnish with a celery stick, lemon wedge, or other garnishes.
  • Stir one last time and serve immediately. Enjoy the bold, refreshing flavours!

Notes

  • Opt for low-sodium tomato juice and reduce the salt for a healthier version.
  • Adjust the seasonings to suit your taste preferences.
  • The base can be made and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add ice and garnishes just before serving.
