Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Bread Sourdough, Whole Wheat, Ciabatta, or Gluten-Free
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Aquafaba
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Herbs e.g., rosemary, thyme, or parsley
  • Salt & Pepper: To taste

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast or Smoked Paprika

Instructions
 

  • Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes. If not stale, let it dry for a few hours.
  • In a bowl, toss bread cubes with oil (or aquafaba), garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Spread on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway.
  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Use stale bread for the crispiest results.
  • Customize with your favorite herbs and spices.
